This sport allows you to enjoy a refreshing water activity during the summer, while also discovering our region along the Aveyron Gorges on the Aveyron river.

Why choose this activity?
Canoeing and kayaking on the Aveyron is a way to discover your holiday region differently. Drifting with the current, you will cross scenery that takes you away from it all. The campsite in Aveyron at Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val has even chosen to have you depart directly from its beaches for greater convenience.
Every Tuesday in July and August, a canoe departure takes place from the campsite beach, with a return to the campsite in Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val after your 12 km descent along the Aveyron Gorges.
On all other days, the canoe bases await you with a return to the campsite.
Information and conditions for the activity
The canoe-kayak descent on the Aveyron is accessible to all levels, from the age of 6. Knowing how to swim is mandatory.
The appropriate equipment includes an old pair of closed-toe shoes, a cap, a swimsuit, and a t-shirt for children. You can bring a picnic and stop at numerous places along the banks, but please note that some land is private. These are usually indicated by a sign.
